Emerging WebBusinesses and Facebook

A Manual for Business Owners

Some things nobody else may tell you, that you probably need to know
and would be better off knowing sooner rather than later.

1.    There are only two reasons to set up a WebBusiness and connect to Facebook.

              a.    To generate additional sales and profits.  If your existing, traditional business could easily handle a 10-15%  increase in sales with no significant increase in overhead and no additional investment in inventory, then upgrading your existing WebBusiness and connecting with Facebook, might be the right move at the right time.

              b.   To perform some other business function more efficiently and increase your employees’ productivity.  That is, can you cut the costs associated with something you are already doing off the web.  For example, if you can transfer most of those annoying interruptions and the time spent  answering basic informational questions about your business, such as ‘what time do you close’ or ‘where are you located’  to your existing WebBusiness that connects with Facebook, then this might also be something worth evaluating.

               c.    No other reasons count.

Or maybe you are thinking about setting up a new WebBusiness or upgrading your existing one.  If so, read on.
